Just had the realization that Blitzwing isn’t allowed in any of the lab spaces. He’d be considered a flame risk, a spark risk, and an oxidizer risk. He so much as makes a move to walk into one of the labs and he’s having beakers and flasks thrown at him to keep him back.
Why is he an oxidizer risk? Because of his ice?
Also, he’d be a hazard in general, with the… randomness he’s got going.
Ooh, okay, I’m so excited to explain this theory! I’m going to go into a bunch of science so please let me know if something doesn’t make sense.
Short answer: he’s carrying around oxygen and hydrogen, both of which can act as oxidizers.
Long answer: So the theory I have for Blitzwing’s powers is based on the idea of being able to break covalent bonds between oxygen and hydrogen and using the energy to create exothermic and endothermic reactions. Oxygen and hydrogen bond together using a type of bond called covalent bonding which creates water. Hydrogen and oxygen are two of the most common elements in the universe, meaning they would be readily available to be used in weaponry. But for elements to bond, they need to release energy, and when they need to break their bond, they need to consume energy.
An exothermic recation occurs when a bond is formed between molecules, and it releases energy, which can be used for heat, or in this case flames. An endothermic reaction occurs when a bond is broken between elements, and it consumes energy, which pulls heat from the environment, or in this case creates ice. So, by pulling oxygen and hydrogen from the environment and then either forming or breaking a bond between the molecules, he can either create fire (exothermic) or ice (endothermic).
As for the randomness, yes, that would also ban him, but I’m going from personal experience working in a lab and if someone told me I either had to deal with a tank of oxygen that could start leaking at any moment or tackle someone to the floor if they made a move for the glassware, I’d rather tackle the person. Also, I’m banking on the labs being card access only, which would also hopefully keep him out.

Were they animals, that music could move them so ?
being a zero waste bitch with a basic knowledge of chemistry is exhausting. stop putting activated charcoal in everything I just want normal deodorant in a cardboard tube
bandaids do not need activated charcoal. thats not. thats not going to do anything.
I JUST WANT A TOOTHBRUSH WITH LESS PLASTIC please no “activated charcoal bristles” they are not going to make your teeth whiter.
does activated charcoal remove “toxins”? yes. because it removes everything. it’s just a porous charcoal preparation. green juice with activated charcoal is going to either have very little nutritional content (because its all bound to the charcoal) or its going to neutralize any medication you’re taking. its a very effective poison remedy because it doesn’t particularly care what it’s binding to

Oh my god Chloe you’re right and you should say it
Fun fact: Victor Gruen, the “inventor” of the modern shopping mall, wanted his malls to be full of apartments, schools, medical facilities, and indoor parks in addition to the stores, so people could live, work, and shop under one roof. This never happened and instead all the space was used for stores, something that he hated.
It’s not just a case of ‘hey it would be easy to repurpose all this space’, malls were originally designed to be living centers and it wouldn’t take that much tweaking to bring them back to it.
